Perhaps one of the best things about the latest selection of smartphones – including Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c – is they give you the chance to make the most of superfast 4G internet. Mobile operator EE has led the rollout of the service across the UK and is offering a range of price plans for both handsets.
If you’re keen to be able to enjoy speedy web browsing and enjoy streaming video content while you’re out and about one of the 24-month 4GEE deals might suit you. Three plans are available to choose from, with all providing unlimited SMS and voice minutes. People can choose from one of three mobile data packages – 1.5GB, 2GB and 10GB – with monthly costs being £31, £36 and £46 respectively.
The initial outlay those wanting to take advantage of one of the plans will have to pay depends on which handset they want and the amount of memory they require. Those wanting an iPhone 5s can choose get a 16GB device for £149.99, 32GB for £269.99 and 64GB for £349.99 when paying £36.
Alternatively, if you prefer the more affordable iPhone 5c, the 16GB version is available for £69.99 on plan one and the 32GB is priced at £169.99 on the same deal.
Of course, the more you pay monthly the cheaper the phone will cost to start with. The iPhone 5s is £49.99, while the iPhone 5c is just £9.99 for those signing up to plan three.
EE chief consumer marketing officer Pippa Dunn said the combination of the network’s double speed 4G and the great features offered by the handsets will ensure customers enjoy a good experience.
She added the company is “delighted†to be able to offer both phones to Orange and T-Mobile customers, as well as those signed up to its 4GEE package.
Both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c make use of Apple’s iOS7, which offers users of the handsets a fresh look and a new of new features. The operating system has received mixed reviews from users, although solutions and fixes for some of the problems have been found.
