What's This?

There is no denying that wireless mice are like a godsend for those who simply cannot stand the idea of having to deal with a pesky cable that isseemingly designed with the sole purpose of getting in the way of one’s working or gaming needs. However, it is also true that one of the biggest peeves most owners have with wireless input devices is that they seem to be capable of going through batteries at very fast rates, a trait which is definitely not going to endear it to the busy PC user who cannot afford to deal with any form of downtime at all.

Fortunately, it seems that Logitech has come up with a solution to address this need, and it comes in the form of its M185 wireless mouse.

Logitech M185

According to Logitech, the Logitech Wireless Mouse M185 is capable of providing up to a full year of uptime without the need for any battery replacements during the aforementioned period, and sports both an On/Off switch and smart sleep mode to help users gain the most out of the device’s battery uptime. Also present on the M185 wireless mouse is a “helpful indicator light”, which the company claims is designed to help “eliminate low-power surprises”.

In addition, Logitech claims that the M185 is capable of lightning-fast data transmission and precise tracking, features which it attributes to the use of its Advanced Optical Tracking technology and nano-receiver. Last but not least, Logitech has also confirmed that the M185 wireless mouse comes with built-in support for “advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity”, which is reportedly capable of delivering “a dependable connection with virtually no delays or dropouts”.

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M185 is currently available for sale at all Logitech authorised resellers (including Challenger) in three different colours (Blue, Red and Swift Grey) at the suggested retail price of S$19.90.
