What's This?

The Nexus X (previously Nexus 6) has been leaked again on French retailer fnac.com, the webpage has been deleted, but not before some were able to screenshot the information on the new Nexus smartphone, set for September launch.

Motorola will add a 5.2-inch 1080p display on the Nexus X, 0.2-inches larger than the Nexus 5. It looks like the Nexus X will miss out on the 2K display trend happening in the second quarter of 2014.

Internally, the Nexus X looks set to compete with all types of high-end smartphones, packing a Snapdragon 805 processor, 2GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. No microSD card or 16GB option will be added on the Nexus X.

There will be a 13MP camera on the back of the Nexus X, no word on if this will have optical image stabilisation, HDR mode or dual-LED flash, we expect Google to push for HDR and dual-LED.

The price of the Nexus X has went up, compared to the Nexus 5. The 32GB Nexus X will cost €419.99 off contract, the 64GB Nexus X will cost €459.99, this will probably translate into the same price in the United States and £50 less in the UK.

Android Lemon Meringue, as it is being called, will run on the Nexus X and will be the flagship smartphone running Android L. The Nexus 8 will hopefully come at the same time, to show developers and manufacturers the flagship model for tablets.

Google has often times been slow to announce new products, choosing odd times and odd places to reveal their new Nexus flagship. September would be a good time, but knowing Google we could see this phone in October, November or even next year.
