Peak Design, introduces the next generation of its wildly popular Everyday Line of bags—the Everyday Line V2. Featuring revamped designs, new color-ways, sustainably sourced fabrics and new carry styles, the Everyday Line V2 expands on the best-in-class versatility and aesthetics found in the original Everyday Line.
Upon its release in 2015, Peak Design’s award winning Everyday Line of bags garnered a rabid fanbase for superior access, organization and protection across each carry style. Four years later, Peak Design has honed its design expertise and incorporated customer feedback to elevate core elements and increase durability. “Since launching the Everyday Line we’ve advanced every single aspect of our design process and supply chain,” commented Adam Sareceno, Director of Marketing for Peak Design. “It’s our mission to make the best things so when we saw an opportunity to make our gear better, we did it.”
The Everyday Line V2, which includes the Everyday Messenger, Everyday Tote, Everyday Sling and Everyday Backpack, directly addresses the most common failure point of every bag—zippers. Peak Design now utilizes Ultrazips, a proprietary zipper technology that employs ultra-high-molecular-weight thermoplastic thread to bind zipper coils to fabric tape. This dramatically increases abrasion resistance and results in zippers that have 20x anti-tear strength compared to regular zippers.
In addition to increased durability, the Everyday Line V2 showcases the design aesthetics that Peak Design has spent years refining. Cleaner seams and more rounded profiles join new colorways like Midnight Navy and Bone to suit a wider variety of styles and preferences. Fans of the Everyday Backpack and Everyday Messenger will also enjoy improvements in the look and feel of custom hard-wear such as the Maglatch closure system.
Joining the Everyday Line V2 family are the all new Everyday Backpack Zip and the Everyday Totepack. Available in 15L and 20L versions, the Everyday Backpack Zip is a visually and functionally simpler version of its full-featured predecessor, the Everyday Backpack V2. The Everyday Totepack is an attractive and highly functional hybrid that effortlessly handles everyday carry. Speaking to its appeal, Saraceno remarks, “The Totepack has a beautifully symmetrical and aesthetically clean form resulting in a bag that looks and feels most at home in an urban or work setting.” Padded backpack straps quickly stow away when the Totepack’s padded carry handles are in use, and top and dual side access points allow convenient access to internal organization provided by two, easy-to-configure, FlexFold dividers.
The Everyday Line V2 also represents Peak Design’s ongoing commitment to a multi-faceted sustainability strategy. Nearly every bag in the line is Bluesign Certified—a third-party verification process that ensures Peak Design’s soft-goods meet the highest standards of sustainability and responsible manufacturing processes. All outer shells of the Everyday Line V2 are comprised of 100% recycled materials and most inner and outer materials are solution dyed, saving both water and energy.
The Everyday Line V2 will be available via the Peak Design https://www.peakdesign.com on November 25, 2019.
