Carl Pei’s ‘Nothing’ announces that they will be launching their first Wireless Earbuds: Ear 1 this June but we still don’t know anything about its design as it’s top secret.
What we know so far:
- Nothing’s first product will be True Wireless Earbuds
- Name: Ear 1
- Coming this June
- Design is still top secret, check the blog for a teaser
Nothing was founded on the latter end of October of last year and has since released some teasers here and there including its early concepts in winter to Ear 1’s fast-approaching launch this summer.
Nothing says its mission is to remove barriers between people and technology to create a seamless digital future that looks, lives, and feels like nothing; in other words, it has to seamlessly integrate with the way we live without having to think of it as something extra. It has to be an extension of the way we live.
“Mirroring the product’s stripped-down aesthetic, the name Ear 1 echoes our raw ambition — to let things be what they are. We don’t try to dress it up with a fancy name. Nor do we want to sit around debating said names. We let Ear 1 speak for itself.”
Carl Pei
Nothing’s first product design is still under wraps but Nothing says that Ear 1 combines notes of transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality which can only point to the Ear 1 potentially have a really good sound quality with an iconic design that isn’t a shock to the user and full of functionalities what we are already used to but made better.
Whatever it will look like, sound like, and function like, we look forward to seeing Nothing’s first product, its journey, and what’s next in the pipeline. You can read the full story here.
