We’ve seen a ton of smartphone launches just for January along, with big names such as Samsung, Honor, and OnePlus (to name a few) unveiling their latest flagship devices, in addition to the myriad of wallet-friendly midrange devices from brands like POCO and Redmi. With that in mind, there are unsurprisingly more phones on the way, and we can expect to see big launches in the coming weeks and months – here are some of the most anticipated phones heading your way soon.
ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra
With a launch event scheduled not too far from now, ASUS has been teasing its upcoming Zenfone 12 Ultra. Not much is known about the phone at the moment, but many are predicting that ASUS will equip it with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The company also posted a quick teaser video which shows the phone in action, giving us an idea of the device’s large display size.
Nothing Phone (3a)
Scheduled to launch in March, the Nothing Phone (3a) was a surprise of sorts. This was due to earlier leaked emails from Nothing chief Carl Pei mentioning an upcoming flagship smartphone, although based on its name, the Phone (3a) will most likely be a budget phone, catching some fans off-guard. Still, some are hoping that we’ll see a flagship Phone (3) sometime this year.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra
While the Xiaomi 15 was launched several months back, Xiaomi still has room in its lineup for a more souped-up version of its flagship device, namely the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. While the phone isn’t out yet, recent leaks show a design that’s not too different from a majority of Chinese flagship smartphones, featuring a rounded camera island in addition to a large display. It’s expected to be announced sometime during MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
Google Pixel 9a
Up next is Google’s Pixel 9a, which takes over for the wallet-friendlier Pixel 8a from last year. The Pixel 9a features a somewhat-different design thanks to the lack of a camera island, and will be priced at $499 for the 128GB storage version, with a 256GB variant priced at $699. Other specs include Google’s Tensor G4 chip, 8GB of RAM a 5,100 mAh battery. It will reportedly ditch the 64MP camera seen on the Pixel 7a and 8a, and instead will feature a higher-quality 48MP resolution camera.
Apple iPhone SE 4
Last but not the least is the iPhone SE 4, which brings some major changes to Apple’s SE line of devices. The phone will reportedly launch sometime in March or April, and features a new design that gets rid of the signature home button, replacing it with a full-screen display. There’s still some debate as to whether or not it will feature Apple’s Dynamic Island or the “classic” notch, but the device will come with a USB-C port this time around, and will retain a single camera setup.
