If you’re looking for a flexible wall / car / desktop mounting system for your iPad there’s a new product from Vogel that you should definitely have a look at. It’s the RingO Mounting System and it’s one of the best I’ve seen for use with the iPad (and both Galaxy Tabs too).

The initial RingO system came with a car mount for using the iPad on the back of a car seat while on the go, a desk stand and a wall mount. All work great, to be sure, but the wall mount was lacking one little thing; flexibility. Sure you could use your iPad both vertically and horizontally but that was it. It was those 2 positions and nothing else. Not bad in some situations, but there are some where a little bit more flexibility of movement would come in very handy, say for when you’re using it at a hostess station in a restaurant and want it to angle upwards or if you have a stand up desk and want to angle it off to the side while you work. With the original wall mount you were stuck with 2 positions and both kept it flat against the wall, and many people wanted and needed something more.
Well, Vogel heard the cry for more flexibility and has answered the call, releasing the newest mount to work with the RingO system, the Flex Mount. The new Flex Mount allows you to use your iPad in any angle desired using their new swivel and tilt capable arm that is fully adjustable. Non need to but the whole system again if you already own it as the new Flex Mount works with the original system.
Using the Flex Mount is simple and easy. As with the previous wall mount it only takes a single screw to attach the swivel arm to almost any surface. Once attached, it pops on and off the RingO iPad cover with the push of 2 simple buttons. It’s so simple even a child can do it with relative ease. When you’re not using it on the wall you just pop off the iPad and you can then use it on any of Vogel’s other mounts or, of course, just hold it in your hands.
With the new Flex Mount the iPad seems to float in the air (very cool) and the possibilities for use are endless. As before, the Vogel case for the iPad is easy to use and gives you access to every feature on your iPad, including letting you use Apple’s Smart Cover.
Vogel has taken a wonderful, simple and easy to use system and made it even better with the new Flex Mount, and I fully recommend the system. There are very few out there that are producing this kind of user-friendly accessory with such a great range of uses. The RingO system is available for the iPad and also both Galaxy tablets.
