The star of WWDC this week was Apple’s next generation MacBook Pro. Not only is it impossibly thin — thinner than a finger — but it comes equipped with the highest resolution screen (2880×1800) on any laptop ever. In comparison, the 15-inch Pro sports a 1440×900 display which, um, is only half the new Pro. In only a 4.46 pound package, Apple has achieved an insane level of engineering that shows exactly why Apple products are so coveted, and why droves of consumers are willing to shell out £1799.
