Last week, I wrote a post about buying my good friend Geekanoids a present for Christmas thanks to Money Supermarket for making it happen.  I decided to get him something I know he would really appreciate and actually use, well I hope he actually uses it for its designated purpose and not try to use the Lens Mug as an actual lens :D.
This post is to tell you about what I received from Geekanoids as well as show my appreciation to Money Supermarket for bringing together the Tech/Gadgets community on this one, I know everyone is busy and can be quite difficult to communicate with everyone and coordinate a good Secret Santa.
Geekanoids knows me well, I like to have things that has a story behind it, and something that will be of real use rather than grow dust sitting on my desk or shelve.  I got two items, R2-D2 Mug with lid;  easily the most famous astromech droid of the R2 series, Industrial Automaton really broke the mould with this adventurous and resourceful little guy. He’s served queens and senators, rebels and Jedi, and now he can serve GadgetsBoy too.
Useful for when I am indoors especially in this freezing temperatures, I can have my coffee in style. Â He also got me a grippy pad that grips onto anything, very useful for when I am in the car, I can now get rid of my windshield holder and place it nicely on my dashboard and when I need to, I can place my handset on it; it hold it securely in place. Â Did I mention he got it in my favorite colour too? (Red).
