It seems the Nokia EOS will be the next flagship device from Finnish phone maker, as they try to boost Windows Phone 8 appeal to the masses.
The Lumia 925 was only released a month ago, but already we are seeing leaks of the Nokia EOS, which will reportedly come with a 41MP camera, quad-core processor and other high-end specs.
The Nokia EOS will also come with 32GB of storage but no room for expandable microSD cards. It will have a polycarbonate unibody, similar to the Lumia 920, with a slimmer figure.
We do expect the Nokia EOS to be a bit heavier than the Lumia 920, even with the slimmer figure. The 41MP camera will take up a lot of the weight and Nokia is developing their own software to make the camera more functional.
A new update to Windows 8 phone will come with the Nokia EOS and Nokia has developed their “amber” additions for the phone as well. We believe Nokia will be adding more to their suite of apps with the Nokia EOS release.
While we do see this move to make a true high-end Windows 8 phone competitor as valiant, Nokia has been playing around with great cameras for a few years. We really need to see some improvements to the display and processing speed.
