The Moto X Phone news is pouring in from multiple sources, all eager to out the smartphones specs and show it to everyone before Motorola or Google announces the device in the coming months.
While we are starting to see consistency with the leaks and spec sheets, we cannot help but think Google is keeping something hidden, it may be Key Lime Pie or something new in the software, possibly new service integration.
Whatever the case, the Moto X Phone has a new image and it looks quite like the one we seen a month ago, which has been leaked by several different news blogs. It doesn’t appear to be a standard design for Motorola and seems more Nexus-like.
Specs have been a little lacklustre, but it is believed Google has focused primarily on sensors and technology rather than hardware brawn, something Samsung is likely to be capable of trumping quickly.
The Moto X Phone will have a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon chip with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Battery life will apparently trump anything on the market currently, possibly lasting more than two days.
Motorola will be focusing on the camera and different sensors and we believe Google will pack more software features into the camera app, to make this one of the best camera phones out there. It will have a 10.5MP shooter, according to evleaks and other sources.
We believe Google has put a lot of thought into making this a cheap but incredibly powerful device. We wouldn’t be surprised if it goes on sale without a contract for under $400, to trump Samsung and Apple.
Unlike the Nexus 4, this Moto X Phone will come with 4G and possibly “5G” LTE services on AT&T and Sprint, although we suspect Verizon and T-Mobile will also be in on the deal.
