The Nokia Lumia 1020 is fast becoming the most leaked smartphone in the history of leaked smartphones and we just hope all this hype does not kill the phone when it finally launches, we know Nokia have disappointed us before.
For a while the Lumia 1020 was called the Nokia EOS and this codename has stuck, even though the infamous leaker evleaks continues to call it the Lumia 1020 and all journalists up to date on the matter call it the Lumia 1020.
The biggest feature about the Lumia 1020 has to be the 41MP camera, which we suspect will be the same shooter as the Nokia 808 has, only with newer specs and some optimised camera features to make top quality pictures.
We now have a picture of what the back of the device will look like and compared to the ugly Galaxy S4 Zoom, the Nokia Lumia 1020 doesn’t look half bad. The camera is obviously huge, but it seems a little less thick and more pocket-friendly.
The Lumia 1020 is set to come with a new camera app called ‘Pro Cam’ and will have some other camera optimisation and photo features to make the pictures look like they were taking from a DSLR.
Other features on the phone include the new quad-core processor and 1080p screen, set to be released with the GDR3 update Microsoft is promising will come soon after GDR2.
The Lumia 1020 will be coated in a full metal body, quite like the Lumia 925 but with a bigger frame and more metal. We loved the feel of the Lumia 925 and if Nokia can replicate that on the Lumia 1020 it would be incredible.
