With Sprint grabbing the red HTC One before Verizon had a chance, they are stuck with the light-blue version revealed by evleaks yesterday, said to be coming on August 15. Verizon has not been known for baby-blue and we doubt this was their first choice of colour, but the HTC One’s colour palette is a little grey.
The blue HTC One will be the same as the white and black internally, with the Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 1080p screen, 4 Ultrapixel camera, Android 4.2.2, Sense 5 and all the other features that make the HTC One our favourite device right now.
HTC has yet to announce the blue version, but with the amount of leaks and documents showing Verizon stock, we can tell it is coming shortly. We think the blue HTC One looks really incredible, it is not as outgoing as the red HTC One, currently available at the Carphone Warehouse.
We are not sure when or if the blue HTC One will come to the UK, Europe or Asia. The red HTC One came to the Carphone Warehouse before it went to Sprint in the US, we have hope the blue version will come to a carrier or retailer before the end of the year.
The HTC One has been an incredibly successful phone for the failing Taiwanese phone maker. With the company currently trying to deny rumours they will be leaving the smartphone industry and selling the company, it is nice to see they are still trying to push out devices like the HTC One Max and Desire 500 to keep revenue up.
