The LG G2 has been one of the most hyped Android phones this year, with leaks dating back three months ago showing the internals of the smartphone. The only real secret LG had was the design of the phone, but with a new press render from evleaks and video, it has sealed almost all the information regarding the LG G2 before the NYC event in two hours.
We can definitely see the LG G2 being one of the biggest devices on the market, the press leak shows an incredible thin device, with almost no bezel to be seen. In the video, the LG G2 is put up against the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the minimal bezel really makes the screen look huge, the LCD panel also has accurate colour reproduction, something the Galaxy S4 AMOLED display does not.
Back buttons are another new feature coming to the LG G2, even though Pantech have just unveiled the Vega LTE-A in South Korea with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The LG G2 back buttons will work to turn the phone off and change the volume on the device.
We can actually see this making a lot of sense, with almost no bezel, the user will have to hold the phone on the sides and with no buttons they will not accidentally touch one. It is odd with the back buttons though and we wonder how easy it will be to tap them on a 5.2-inch device.
We’ll be giving you all the updated news once the LG event is finished. Be sure to check it out!
