Even though we have yet to see any press invites, AllThingsDÂ has reported that Apple will launch the iPhone 5S at an event on September 10, alongside the lower-cost iPhone 5C.
We expect the iPhone 5S to have similar internals and the same design as the iPhone 5, sticking with the retina display, four inch screen and button layout. Differences will be on the camera, from 8MP to 12MP and a dual-LED flash and we may see a fingerprint sensor embedded onto the home button on the iPhone.
Apple is likely to keep the same internals, with the Apple A6 chipset and storage options (16, 32 and 64GB), with the new multitasking we may see Apple add 2GB of RAM, to keep the phone running smoothly.
The iPhone 5C is most definitely coming sometime this year, we have seen too many leaks alongside the iPhone 5S to believe this is somehow fake. Apple will probably launch the device in certain regions and do the same with the iPhone 5S.
Aside from being a full plastic device, the iPhone 5C will come in multiple colours, we believe it will come without the retina display and we may see it come with lower spec internals.
Also expected at the event is the full release of iOS7, alongside the new iPhones. Tim Cook did say innovative new products are coming next year, this year is likely to be the revamping of all the current line of products.
