The Sony Honami has leaked again, this time we have gotten a chance to see multiple shots of the new camera-phone in high-quality, revealing some of the well known features.
The Honami line of smartphones will look quite similar to the Xperia line, with a high quality plastic finish we are used to seeing with Sony devices. Sony definitely deliver one of the most attractive lines of smartphones when it comes to design.
This new leak reconfirms the 20MP camera sensor, f/2.4 aperture and it looks like a single-flash LED. This will be a beast of a camera and we can expect Sony to put all their previous experience with DSLR cameras and premium shooters into the Honami, both on a hardware and software side.
We won’t just see a camera on this device though, it will be a full blown high-end device, similar to what the Nokia Lumia 1020 is trying to achieve. Previous leaks reveal a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 3300mAh battery.
As for the screen, we believe the Sony Honami will be a 5 or 5.5-inch device, with a 1080p display. Sony has had a hard time making a great screen and a waterproof device, we may see one or the other here, hopefully the former.
It is odd we are seeing a change from the Xperia line, the Honami may just be for phones with really impressive cameras. Atheistically it looks similar to an Xperia device and it will come with Android 4.2.2.
