The UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI), run by the Institute of Customer Service, asks consumers to rate their actual experiences of the individual organisations they have dealt with on a range of metrics, from professionalism, quality and efficiency to problem solving and complaint handling.

Over the past year, Amazon.co.uk introduced further improvements to its customer experience including Amazon Prime Now, offering Prime customers in Birmingham, London, Manchester and Newcastle delivery of up to 20,000 items within one hour for £6.99, or free delivery in a selected two-hour window; Amazon Prime Same Day delivery in London on over a million items; and Amazon Pantry, a new nationwide service for Prime members, offering more than 4,000 low-priced everyday essentials, including food and drink, household supplies, and health and beauty products.
