If you own an iPhone 6, chances are you will also be shopping for a nice case to compliment the design of your smart phone so that you still get to experience the slim design it possesses. The good news depending on the way you want to see it, is that there are so many cases and other accessories available on the market and not all of them are the same, they are also designed for different purposes. The packaging of the Barbour case itself is neatly designed to be simplistic and makes you want to take your case out gently so as not to rip the cardboard in shreds out of excitement. The case itself resembles the Apple’s official leather case but slightly thinner, the only way you would notice is if you place both cases onto your phone and feel it in your hands. Compared to the Apple case however it leaves the top area open to bumps, the buttons on the side are nicer and offer better response when pressing the button, although with the keys not protruding, it can be difficult at first to find them in the dark, eventually your fingers gets used to finding them exactly where they are. In general the case offered protection to the areas that are prone to damage at the point of impact if dropped and in my experience, it’s usually the corners that suffer the most and it protects that area very well. The edges are layers with a shock absorbing rubber which helps keep the screen safe, should you drop it on its face. The only problem with the case here is that the rubber layer around the edge peeled off after few encounter with liquid.
