What's This?

Rim release the Blackberry OS 2.0 for it’s PlayBook tablet and it’s what the PlayBook owners have been waiting for, it is why some people did not buy in the first place and it’s the reason why mine grew dust for a while after I gave my Blackberry Bold away. The video release by RIM to show how slick the design is below:

Any Blackberry PlayBook owner would tell you how happy they are with it’s features, once you update your PlayBook via the settings menu, you will notice the social integration with Facebook and Twitter; multitasking and productivity are improved.

Before the PlayBook was due to launch, most Blackberry users expected BBM, native calendar, contacts and messages apps but it was lacking, however now, it’s a step closer; all we need now is a 3G model so we don’t have to rely on a Blackberry device to use the internet or a MiFi (WiFi also)

Also with the 2.0 update is the BlackBerry Bridge which now also let you use your smartphone as a keyboard and mouse for the tablet and if you check out BlackBerry App World, you will notice some Android apps that work on the PlayBook, you know what they say, if you can’t beat them? Join them!

Question still remains however…..are they behind? did they leave it too little too late to compete?
