The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been dominating a field where there has been hardly any real competition until now that LG Â has confirmed the long time rumoured Optimus G Pro with 5.5 inch 1080p display.
Although the full specifications is not released, LG has stated it will carry a Full HD 1080p metal framed border around the glass display. We have also heard of 3D display but LG has come up with a 2.5D effect with its slightly curved front glass.
With no full specifications released, it is thought that it will most likely have a  Qualcomm’s S4 Pro chipset and, presumably, 2GB of RAM for fast processing speed and power; it is mostly likely going to carry Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 but not confirmed.  Although it might challenge the Samsung Galaxy Note 2  of its crown, but it still does not have the S Pen which some Note 2 users have come to love.
LG confirmed the Optimus G Pro would be launching in late-February, and hopefully it makes its debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of the mont. Â GadgetsBoy will be at the MWC and will bring you more news as it occurs.
