What's This?

Following the numerous amount of leaks regarding the upcoming Pixel 9a over the previous months, it looks like internet informants are now gearing up to reveal what they know about Google’s 2025 flagship device lineup, aka the Pixel 10 series. With that in mind, we’ve finally gotten a visual idea as to how the new devices will look, but believe us when we say that Google isn’t probably doing anything exciting this year, at least in terms of design.

CHECK OUT: New Hands-on Footage Shows the Pixel 9a, yet Again: Here’s All We Know so Far

Based on these new leaks from Android Headlines and tech informant @Onleaks, Google is planning on giving the Pixel 10 series phones a familiar look, save for a few key changes. The product renders released today so far show a design that’s essentially the same as on the Pixel 9 from last year, which finally introduced flat sides and an overall iPhone-esque appearance to Google’s own brand of Android handsets, a change which spurred considerable debate between fans given how similar it looked to Apple’s own line of phones, at least from certain angles.

Starting with the base model Pixel 10, fans of Google’s smartphone range can expect the same look and feel if they already own the Pixel 9. Unlike the Pixel 9a which sheds the camera bar on the rear panel, the Pixel 10 – for better or for worse – sticks to this established design, which arguably keeps Google’s phones distinct and easily identifiable from the rest of the competition. One key change however is that the Pixel 10 will now come with three camera lenses on the rear panel – previously, all base-model Pixel flagships came with two cameras at the most, which usually consisted of a main sensor and a secondary ultra-wide sensor.

As for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, there’s not much difference from last year, as they already come with three camera sensors by default. The 190 pro and 10 Pro XL renders also show a glossy metallic frame, a contrast to the matte frame seen on the regular Pixel 10. All phones are also expected to feature the same dimensions, albeit with some minor differences in terms of overall thickness. Interestingly though, the renders show that the sim slot has now been moved on the top end of the phones, meaning that Google might return to its dual-grille design seen on previous Pixel models.

CHECK OUT: The Nothing Phone 3a Series is Finally Official

As for what’s inside, not much is known about the full specs sheet of the upcoming phones at this point, aside from the chip – Google’s upcoming Tensor G5 chipset will be running the show, and will supposedly be manufactured by TSMC, the same company that also produces Qualcomm’s Snapdragon series chipsets. The phones will also run on Android 16, with Google moving the much-awaited yearly upgrade to an earlier month this year.
