If you – like many buyers today – have bought a smart TV in the past couple of years, then you might have come across Hisense, which is one of the more popular brands when it comes to modern smart home entertainment systems. With that in mind, the brand recently announced its upcoming U7 series TVs, which come with some nifty features such as enhancements to peak brightness and increased local dimming zones, along with improvements to High Dynamic Range (HDR) performance.

At the core of the U7 Series is Hisense’s Hi-View AI Engine PRO, which the company describes as a powerful processor that can dynamically optimize on-screen content. The U7 TVs will also come with an Anti-Reflection Screen, which should prove handy even in brightly-lit environments. For gaming sessions, the TV will come with support for 165Hz Game Mode Ultra, which should provide smooth and responsive gameplay, at least on paper. Other features designed for gaming include Auto Low Latency Mode, AMD Freesync Premium Pro, and even multiple HDMI 2.1 ports for added connectivity.
As for audio, Hisense says that it’s worked on giving the U7 Series a more immersive listening experience for users. This includes a 2.1.2 Multi-Channel Surround sound system with support for Dolby Atmos and AI Sound, and the TVs also come with “Tuned by Devialet” certification, which helps to cement their selling point as a new standard in immersive audio. It should be noted though that a future software update will unlock this enhanced audio experience for users.

Hisense clearly wants to win over gamers and sports fans with the new TVs – part of the company’s official announcement reads:
Designed especially for gamers and sports enthusiasts, its MiniLED PRO technology delivers brighter, clearer images with enhanced detail compared to standard LEDs, offering the truest darkness and stellar brightness. With the U7 Series TV, Hisense — the No. 1 maker of 100-inch+ TVs globally — continues to drive innovation that improves how people live, connect, and enjoy the moments that matter most.
As with most smart TVs these days, the U7 series is designed for cinematic home viewing. Hisense says that the TVs come with support for IMAX enhancements, Dolby Vision, and Filmmaker Mode, which nicely go hand in hand with 4K visuals. Additionally, there’s also support for Quantum Dot Colour and Pantone Validated Colour for vibrant and more realistic image reproduction. Hisense adds that the U7 Series TVs are set to launch on April 15th in the USA and May 15th in Europe, and will be available in six screen sizes consisting of 55, 65, 75, 85, 100, and 116 inches.
