HTC has started to lower the amount of devices being made, with the One plotting HTCs place at the high-end and Desire settling the low-end for the Taiwanese smartphone maker.
The HTC Zara has been leaked with press renders and we have already heard some rumoured specs on the mid-range competitor. The leaks come straight from top-leaker evleaks, who has giving us a roundup of the specs.
We will see a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, likely to from MediaTek who deal in low end processors. This will come with 1GB of RAM and a minuet 8GB of internal storage, considered the norm for smartphones of this price.
The HTC Zara will also come with a 4.5-inch qHD display, 2100mAh battery, Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and Sense 5.5. Grabbing the latest version of Jelly Bean is good hit for HTC, although recent rumours point at Key Lime Pie being released at the end of this year.
What we really like about the HTC Zara is the similarity in design to the HTC One. Even though this will come in polycarbonate, the front-facing speakers and minimalistic design makes it a much more elegant choice when pitting it against any mid-range smartphone from Samsung or LG.
