What's This?

The Apple event is two weeks away and we still have no indication of event invites, but leaks are still coming out about the iPhones reveal happening on September 10, alongside the release of iOS7.

A new email sent from Nuance, the developers of Siri, seems to confirm the release of iOS7 on September 10. The development team wrote to developer Owen Williams: “As you are probably aware, iOS7 GA will be released on September 10.”

GA means general availability, which is surprising considering we still have iOS7 in BETA 6 without the Golden Master SDK in sight. It is common for Apple to offer a week or two for developers to sink into the new final version of iOS before release.

Jony Ive’s flat design will change all of iOS, the idea is to make every application flat on the system and Apple is hoping third party developers work to make the design of their apps the same as Apple has on iOS7.

The big changes on iOS7 include the Control Center, 3D dynamic background, multi-tasking, AirDrop, Photo Moments, automatic app updates and iTunes Radio, as well as a whole system reboot and some little changes.

To celebrate the iOS7, Apple will launch the iPhone 5S. This will come with a new fingerprint sensor, A7 processor, 2GB of RAM, 128GB storage option and 12MP dual-LED camera, a big upgrade for the S model. The iPhone 5S will come in two new colours, gold and granite.

Apple will also be launching the iPhone 5C, a new cheaper version of the iPhone for developing markets. We believe the iPhone 5C may be called the iPhone Colour when finally released and come with many colour variations.
