The iPhone 5C is one of Apple’s worst kept products, with leaks hitting the web every day and the only question left being what is inside powering the cheaper iPhone.
This new leak shows the six colours Apple will launch with the iPhone 5C. We do not think Apple will launch the new low-cost phone with that name either, it is likely to be called the iPhone Colour and may not have the number.
The six different colour options are black, white, cyan, pink, green and amber. The amber looks almost like mustard, the pink is washed out to not look Barbie and green looks like a lighter touch of snot. It is fair to say the plastic backing makes the phone colours look less desirable.
We have to remember what Apple is aiming for with the iPhone Colour, not the US high-end market, but the developing markets and kids. The quality and precision do not need to be incredible and professional, they need to be playful and cheap.
We like the blue variant, but the black is definitely the worst in the lineup, there is something about the design of the iPhone Colour that does not mesh with the black colour, that is just our opinion though.
