JBL Previews its Upcoming Gear for 2025

Audio enjoyment veteran JBL recently took the time to showcase its new and upcoming products during CES 2025, which include a number of different speakers, headphones, and more. With that in mind, here’s a quick rundown of what JBL has in store for fans this year.

First up is the JBL Tour ONE M3, the first JBL headphones which are designed to work with an audio transmitter in the form of the JBL SMART Tx. The Tour ONE M3 features support for active noise cancelling and spatial audio, with up to 70 hours of playtime. Meanwhile, the SMART Tx comes with built-in audio and Auracast, and dozens of different touchscreen features including volume, spatial sound, and EQ adjustments. The combo starts at around $399.

JBL also unveiled three new additions to its PartyBox speaker lineup, which includes the PartyBox 520 ($799) that packs an ergonomic telescopic handle, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio, Auracast for multi-speaker pairing, and built-in lighting effects.There’s also a more portable option in the form of the PartyBox Encore 2 ($399) that comes with a built-in 2-mic channel receiver for karaoke, AI Sound Boost, Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast, and up to 12 hours of battery life. The PartyBox Encore Essential 2 ($299) likewise comes with a travel-friendly design, in addition to built-in guitar and mic inputs, AI Sound Boost, Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast, and lighting effects.

We also saw the refresh of JBL’s Tune, Vibe and Endurance ranges – this include the Endurance Race 2 ($79.95) with a 48-hour battery, speed charging, Active Noise Cancelling, and an IP68 rating, the Vibe 2 series ($59.95) that offers three styles (Buds, Beam, and Flex) with 40 hours of playback, Bluetooth 5.3, and VoiceAware, and the premium Tune 2 series ($99.95) that also includes Buds, Beam, and Flex options with 12mm drivers, 6 microphones, Adaptive Noise Cancelling, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Tune series also features a number of over-ear models, consisting of the Tune 520C ($39.99) with high-res audio and USB-C connectivity, while the Tune 520BT ($49.99) packs 33mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, and up to 57 hours of battery life.Finally, the Tune 720BT ($79.99) headphones feature 40mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, VoiceAware, and up to 76 hours of battery life.

For younger listeners, JBL unveiled its new “Junior” line which includes the Junior 470NC ($79.99), wired headphones with Active Noise Cancelling and the wireless JBL Junior 320BT, both of which feature JBL Safe Sound technology that limits volume at a maximum of 85dB, and includes parental controls for volume and usage limits, in addition to 48-hour battery life. The JBL Junior 320 ($29.95) are wired on-ear headphones with a built-in mic, Safe Sound technology, and a foldable design.

For home audio, there’s the Horizon 3 clock radio ($99.99) and a new white edition of the Authentics series. The Horizon 3 features JBL Signature Stereo Sound, Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast, and dual alarms for seamless integration into daily routines, while the Authentics 300 and 200 speakers feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, multi-room playback, and superior sound quality, with support for Google Assistant and Alexa.
