How the Beer Tjiller Can Cooler works
The Beer Tjiller is made from a very hard polystyrene outer shell, which acts to insulate an inner-layer of special gel, which can be cooled to very low temperatures (in any typical household freezer). On the inside of the Tjiller (the part that touches the can, bottle or glass) there is an aluminum membrane, which releases the cold from the gel very slowly, hence why it is able to keep beer cold and make it cooler for so long. The Tjiller is best stored in the freezer and should reach it’s coolest temperature in about 8 hours (so overnight for best results).
