The LG G2 was released a few days ago and now the company is moving to get the phone out to every carrier in the world, with 130 partners ready to sell the LG G2 before the end of the year.
LG has already said the G2 will not be getting a Google Edition in the first few months, the rep said they want to focus on selling the phone through carriers and not unlocked if they can help it, this may be the reason why they are holding off from telling us the off contract price.
Notebooks Billiger, a German online ordering service, has revealed the price for at least the European model of the LG G2 off contract. It will come at €599 for the 16GB model and €629 for the 32GB model, both come with LTE radios.
Conversion cannot be completely accurate because we have to take into account gadgets are normally a little cheaper in the US then they are in the UK and are normally the same price in the UK and Europe.
For UK buyers, they will probably come at £559 for 16GB and £629 for 32GB, perhaps a little step down to £480 for the 16GB if the carriers are feeling a little charitable. VAT & import charges apply in the UK and this means the exchange rate is thrown out the window.
In the US we may see the LG G2 come at around $699 for the 16GB and $749 for the 32GB model. This is quite expensive and is $50 – 100 over the Galaxy S4 and HTC One price, currently sitting at $600 – 650.
