We’re on the brink of CES 2025, and while most other brands and manufacturers are waiting until the event to showcase their upcoming products, the folks at LG have apparently decided that you can never be too early when teasing the latest tech. As such, LG gave the public a sneak peek of what it has in store for CES 2025, following its recent gaming gear reveal.

That being said, the South Korean tech giant previewed its new LG gram lineup, which consists of a handful of AI-powered Windows laptops. Set to be fully unveiled during CES 2025 at Las Vegas, the new laptops include the gram Pro, gram Pro 2-in-1, gram and gram Book. LG says that the laptops come with the latest developments in AI software including support for large language models and personalized AI functionality.
First up is the LG gram Pro (model 17Z90TR), which according to LG packs impressive performance all within a lightweight and portable package. The gram Pro’ is powered by an Arrow Lake CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card, making it ideal for high-performance gaming and graphics-heavy productivity tasks. The new lineup also includes the LG gram Pro (model 16Z90TS), a Copilot+ PC and the 16Z90TR, which packs a 16-inch display and is the lightest in the new lineup at just 2.64 pounds.
Also included are the LG gram Pro 2-in-1 (model 16T90TP) which works both as a “traditional” computer that can easily be converted into stylus-compatible tablet, and the LG gram Book (model 15U50T), a more wallet-friendly model which packs all the essentials from the gram series, and comes with a 15.6-inch FHD screen with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display, expandable storage configurations, a 720p HD webcam with privacy shutter, and a portable design.

Going back to their AI capabilties, the new laptops include LG’s gram chat On-Device that allow them to use AI in order to analyze data locally offline. The laptops are also able to access cloud-based AI services via gram chat Cloud (a subscription service), powered by GPT-4o. Other AI-based features include Time Travel, which lets users revisit web pages, documents, videos and audio files, as well as gram chat Cloud that uses web-based datasets for comprehensive answers to user inquiries, and added integration with users’ personal email and calendar utilities.
LG adds that its new gram laptop models will come with support for gram Link 2.0, which is an upgraded version of the gram Link feature from a year ago. Gram Link 2.0 allows for device connectivity across different operating systems, meaning that users can easily share files between PC and mobile devices including iOS and Android devices, and even handle phone calls via their laptops.
