Samsung recently teased some of its upcoming monitors, which it will preview to the public and media during CES 2025 this week. The company maintains a fairly sizable lineup of different monitors for different user needs and preferences, which include the ViewFinity and Odyssey lines, to name a few. With that in mind, here’s what you can expect from Samsung’s 2025 selection of upcoming monitors.

Samsung Smart Monitor M9
Included in this 2025 lineup is the new Smart Monitor M9, which is designed to work with built-in AI features such as smart picture adaptation and search functions. In terms of hardware, the M9 features a 32-inch 4K OLED screen with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, in addition to a slim design, and even a built-in 4K camera for video calls.
Samsung adds that the M9 comes with AI Picture Optimizer, allowing the monitor to analyze input signals, determine what kind of content is being displayed, and then adjust display settings accordingly. This means that productivity and gaming sessions (for example) will come with different display settings when the feature is enabled. Additionally, the Smart Monitor M9 also includes Samsung’s 4K AI Upscaling Pro which uses AI-based processing and neural networks, allowing it to display old and low-resolution content with a much higher quality at up to 4K resolution.
Samsung Odyssey Series
Meanwhile, Samsung has also introduced new expansions to its Odyssey gaming lineup with the Odyssey OLED G8 and G6. The G8 packs an impressive-looking 27-inch 4K OLED screen, which also features a 240Hz refresh rate and 165 PPI. On the other hand, the G6 also comes with an OLED panel, albeit with a much smoother 500Hz refresh rate and a QHD-resolution display. Additionally, both the new G8 and G6 models come with a response time of 0.03ms (GTG), and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and are compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync.
Also part of this year’s Odyssey lineup is Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey G90XF model. The biggest highlight of this one is that it comes with a built-in 3D feature, which works with a front stereo camera and a lenticular lens fixed on the panel. This means that users can view content in 3D, and can even “convert” 2D content for 3D viewing.

Samsung adds that the monitor’s sharp 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution alongside an sRGB 99% color gamut makes for a more immersive experience during usage. Other details include 90W USB-C connectivity, TÜV Rheinland certification, and a built-in KVM switch.
