So Samsung recently launched its latest hardware offerings which included its new foldables and wearable devices, and in addition to this the company also unveiled the Galaxy Buds3 series, its new line of flagship earbuds. The Galaxy Buds3 comes in two different models, including the “regular” Buds3 and a more expensive Buds3 Pro, both of which feature a whole new look, at least in terms of Samsung products. Let’s talk about design – similar to the new Galaxy Watch Ultra, there’s been a lot of talk about Samsung borrowing visual “inspiration” from its rival over in Cupertino. The company has applied a new design approach to its Galaxy Buds3 series – gone are the minimalist bumps, now replaced by a more common earbuds design that incorporates a stem. In Samsung’s defense though, it’s added a few unique touches such as a glowing edge on the stems, which does help it stand out a bit from competing earbuds.

With that said, Samsung has designed the flagship Galaxy Buds3 Pro with a canal-type design, while the base model Galaxy Buds3 features an open-type design instead. Of course both models feature touch controlsfor volume and playback controls, which are common on most earbuds these days.
Let’s go over audio quality – inside the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, you’ll find built-in 2-way speakers complete with a planar tweeter that handles high-range sound, in addition to dual amplifiers, and Ultra High-Quality Audio with supports for doubled sampling rate with the SSC codec. For calls, there’s an included Super-Wideband Call feature, which according to Samsung uses machine learning technology to improve the overall voice quality during phone calls and such.
As with the rest of its current product lineup, the company states that it’s added a bit of smarts to the Galaxy Buds3 series by way of its own Galaxy AI, which is able to give users a handful of useful features – these include a new interpreter mode that works when connected to a Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6, allowing users to experience real-time translations directly through the earbuds. There’s also support for controls via voice command, such as playback and more. Samsung says that the hardware inside the Galaxy Buds3 series works in tandem with intelligent algorithms, to give users enhanced audio quality.
Other hardware details include built-in microphones as well as adaptive EQ and ANC. Should you opt for the more expensive Galaxy Buds3 Pro, you do end up with extra features such as Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect, which can automatically adjust noise levels and detect surrounding noise. As for price, the Galaxy Buds3 series is available in Silver and White, starting at £159 for the Galaxy Buds3 and £219 for Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
