#Mophie Loves you! – Power on the go

A while ago I was having lots of issues with my iPhone 4 battery and with all the new firmware upgrades, battery life was still a problem for me as I am on the go most of the time.  So I did what anyone would do, look for ways to solve that issue; I looked at Mophie juice pack and because I needed it so urgently I purchased one from Amazon with a next day delivery. 

It dropped through my letter box I was excited, opened up the packaging, so far so good; I then charged it and took with me on a train journey to London.  As usual my battery drained swiftly as a result of listening to music, sending and receiving emails and tweeting.  I hooked up the Mophie juice pack air and no charge! Baring in mind I charged it the night before, I Immediately started thinking it must be fake so I bought another one and it was exactly thesame.

GadgetsBoy team then attended the CU Expo, where I had opportunity to tell Mophie about the situation and the need for them to police the issue on Amazon; after some laughter about how fake my items were they then exchanged them on the spot with two new ones which was quite amazing if you ask me and the best customer service I have ever experienced. 

How to spot the fake

I called them the original fakes because they were welk branded and made to look like the real Mophie juice packs.  Having the real product, it was easy to see the difference; the charge indicator ligts were dull and of obvious lack of quality compared to the bright lights and Mophie’s logo on the USB cable on the real copy; the fake ones had a generic USB charger.  If you fall into the same situation get in touch with me and Ill get it to the right people.

The review
It’s not bulky as the fake ones had me feeling previously.  It is still stylish and holds its charge until you use it; as adviced it is better to start using it before your iPhone completely drains.

You can use them with iTunes so you have no need to remove it in order to use it.  The Mophie juice pack plus has a 2000mAh battery which means additional 8 hours talk time.  It is very protective and for the ones who likes colours, they are available in other colours.  The Mophie juice pack air, as the name suggests is the lighter version with 1500 mAh version adding a whopping 6 hours extra talk time to your iPhone and also available in other colors.  They are no doubt a dream come true for business people, temple run addicts or anyone who wants longer battery life on thier iPhone whilst adding style and safety.  The real Mophie juice pack plus will set you back $99.95 and the air version $79.95.
