The Moto X is nearing its release, with the Google Moto X event scheduled for August 1 in New York City. We have already seen the spec sheet and a press shot of the black version, but now we have a press shot of the white version.
We can tell this is not a fake render because we have already seen Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt using the device in white. Being the head of the company that owns Motorola has its perks apparently.
The Moto X customisation is expected to feature up to 30 different colours and textures, making the phone very personal to the end user. We may even see the Moto X come with wood panels for the backing.
In the past few months we have seen constant iterations on what the Moto X actually is, originally named the X Phone, it was said to be Google’ response to the Galaxy S4 and HTC One, with excellent specs and incredible battery life.
Now we have the stepped down the ladder to a more mid-range device with a dual-core 1.7GHz processor and 720p screen, however, we still have rumours of multiple day battery life and incredible artificial intelligence.
From leaks of people who have tried out the Moto X and from the CEO of Google Larry Page, everyone seems to be excited about the Moto X phone and what possibilities it will bring.
