Motorola recently announced a new wave of smartphones for UK markets, which include the Moto g73 5G, Moto G53 5G, Moto G23 and Moto G13. Motorola is aiming to win more consumers with this diverse lineup, which covers different price brackets – let’s check them out!
Moto G73 5G
First up is the Moto G73 5G, which Motorola markets as a device that specializes in photos thanks to its 50MP camera system, which combines every four pixels into one large 2.0um Ultra Pixel. This is aided by an ultrawide lens and macro lens. The phone also features a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging support.
The G73 will be available in lucent white and midnight blue and is arriving from early March with a starting MSRP of £269.99 on Amazon, Argos, Carphone Warehouse, Currys and John Lewis.
Moto G53 5G
Up next is the Moto G53 5G, which comes equipped with similar specs to the Moto G73, although it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset, with different configurations available in either 4, 6, or 8GB of RAM. It also comes with a 6.5-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Users can grab the G53 in ink blue, arctic silver and pale pink and is arriving from early March with a starting MSRP of £189.99 on Amazon, Argos, BT, Carphone Warehouse, Currys, EE, Giff Gaff, John Lewis, 02 and Vodafone.
Additionally, both devices feature Motorola’s “Thinkshield” for mobile, Motorola’s additional security feature. This also includes the Moto Secure app, which allows users to manage network security, control app permissions and hide sensitive data, and Family Space, which lets parents set limits on screen time, control which apps are accessible, and even create multiple profiles, and keep sensitive content away from young ones.
Moto G23
Motorola also launched the Moto G23, which comes with a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple-array camera with a 50MP main lens, and a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The G23 also supports 30W charging speeds. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for easy reachability. As for availability, the G23 will be available in three colours: pearl white, steel blue and matte charcoal and is arriving from early March with a starting MSRP of £199.99 on Amazon, Argos and John Lewis.
Moto G13
Rounding up the bunch are the Moto G13 and Moto E13, which are the most wallet-friendly of the new devices. The G13 features a 50MP sensor aided by a macro lens, a depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. It also features a 6.5-inch 90Hz display, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The G13 will be available in three colours: rose gold, blue lavender and matte charcoal and is arriving from early March with a starting MSRP of £149.99 on Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Currys, Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, 02 and Giff Gaff.
Moto E13
Last but not the least is the Moto E13, which also comes with a 6.5-inch screen (we’re sensing a theme here), a large 5000mAh battery, and a 13MP AI-enabled camera system and 5MP selfie cam for optics. The E13 will be available in cosmic black, aurora green and creamy white and is arriving from early March with a starting MSRP of £89.99 on Amazon, Argos, Carphone Warehouse, Currys, John Lewis, 02, Tesco and Vodafone.
