Leaked photos of the Motorola Droid Ultra have appeared on the web, just as Verizon prepares to unleash their new line of devices, including many new Droid smartphones from Motorola and other partners.
The Motorola Droid Ultra will be the big guy out of the three new Motorola Droid devices reportedly coming to the Verizon event. With the MAXX and Mini stepping in as the mid-tier and small devices. We have yet to find out the exact size of the Motorola Droid Ultra, although we expect it to be larger than five-inches.
The most noticeable feature on the Droid Ultra is the kelvar red back, basically affirming it as a droid phone heading to Verizon. Kevlar has been a big thing for Motorola, it is stronger than metal but gives the cross-stich design.
We are unsure how much this will hit for or the internals on this device, but we suspect it will be flagship quality, with a Snapdragon 600/800 chip, 2GB of RAM and a 1080p screen. According to recent reports, it will also have 2 days of battery life.
