AI Smarts and Performance
The Prestige 13 AI+ Evo comes with Intel’s Core Ultra 200V chipset, which aside from enhancements to performance comes with added support for AI software and applications, such as Microsoft’s Copilot+ platform. The 200V also packs an NPU capable of up to 48 TOPS, as well as a built-in Intel Arc GPU with up to 67 TOPS. The Prestige 13 AI+ Evo comes with a 32GB RAM configuration, which should be more than enough for most demanding tasks such as video and image production software, gaming, and more.
Powering the laptop is a pretty large 75Whr battery which according to MSI can last for up to a day of use, although of course we’re more than confident that this will greatly depend on the kinds of programs or games that you’re running on your machine. There’s also support for Thunderbolt 4 with PD charging technology.
Design and Other Details
As mentioned earlier, the Prestige 13 AI+ Evo packs a lot of tech within a thin and light chassis. MSI says that it measures 16.99mm thick and weighs only 990 grams, making it ideal for carrying along on flights, or everyday commutes. It’s also built with a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis, which has been tested for MIL-STD-810H/G certification, adding a bit of durability to it. This entire shell wraps around a 13.3-inch OLED display with a sharp 2K resolution (that’s 2880 x 1800 pixels for you). There’s also a backlit keyboard which in a way isn’t too surprising to see on a laptop in this price range.
As for other hardware details, you’ll also find an IR 5MP webcam with 3D Noise Reduction+ for video calls, dual 2W speakers with Hi-Res Audio and DTS processing for a immersive audio experience, and a spatial array microphone with a combo audio jack. Connectivity options include one Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0, one HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, and a fingerprint reader for added security. The Prestige 13 AI+ Evo is available now via MSI’s official website, as well as authorised retailers in the UK.
