Nokia is still pushing out low-cost Lumia’s for Europe and developing countries and the latest to join the line is the Lumia 625, a 4.7-inch, 4G ready Windows Phone for the European markets.
The Lumia 625 has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM. It has a 5MP rear camera and VGA front facing camera. Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and 4G come on the device, although NFC may go amiss.
Nokia has designed the phone similar to the other Lumia smartphones, with multiple different outgoing colours. This time the range includes green, yellow, orange, white and black.
The casing looks really nice, with Nokia designing the button colours around the phone. The curve design makes holding the phone simple, even with the 4.7-inch size, the largest Windows Phone out right now.
Nokia will also add their Pro Cam app to the Lumia 625, for better photo and video. It will come with Windows Phone 8 and will have access to all the apps currently in the Windows Phone store.
The best part about this phone is the price, even thought it is definitely in the mid-range market, it comes at £240 off contract and EE, Vodafone and 02 have confirmed they will be carrying it. On top of that, Phones4u and Carphone Warehouse will stock the Lumia 625.
