Apple’s launch of the iPhone 15 is probably one of the biggest in a while, thanks to a bunch of new features that the company has included with its latest handsets. With that said, you might be one of many who are looking forward to getting their hands on the iPhone 15, which comes with new hardware such as USB-C, the Dynamic Island cutout, as well as a newer 48MP main camera lens. The iPhone 15 also comes with Apple’s signature design that it’s used on a multitude of past iPhones, sticking to a tried-and-tested formula.
With that being said, however, the iPhone 15 – like many other smartphones – is still prone to damage, and one serious drop or hit can spell the end for your smartphone (in which case we’d recommend getting an Apple Care plan). However, one of the easiest ways to protect your phone is with a case. As such, we’ve put together a list of cases that add a bit of protection to your iPhone 15, without the unnecessary bulk and weight. Let’s check them out!
Ringke Onyx Case
First off the list is Ringke’s Onyx case, which is made with a flexible TPU material, making it easy to put on or take off from your iPhone 15. The Ringke Onyx case also comes with a textured design, which adds some much-needed grip to your phone. There’s some extra protection on the camera module as well, which reduces the likelihood of your cameras getting scratched up.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid
Up next is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, which is an ideal choice if you want a protective cover that shows off your iPhone’s colour. The Ultra Hybrid case features flexible TPU sides which allow for easy installation, with a tough polycarbonate rear panel that’s moulded to fit perfectly on your iPhone 15. It also comes in a variant with a black TPU border around the case, instead of the transparent one (as seen here).
TORRAS Shockproof Case
Similar to the Ultra Hybrid case, the TORRAS Shock Proof case also comes with a TPU and polycarbonate combo, although one key difference is that the TORRAS case comes with a translucent rear panel, instead of a fully transparent cover like on the Ultra Hybrid. Additionally, the TORRAS Shock Proof case comes with swappable volume and power buttons, which add a bit of customisability to the way it looks.
Spigen Thin Fit Case
For users after a slim case for their iPhone 15, Spigen’s Thin Fit case might be a great choice for folks who only want to add a bit of grip to their device, and some light protection for a few knocks and bumps along the way. The case features a combination of TPU sides for an easy fit, in addition to a grippy polycarbonate back that’s made to be hard and form-fitting, with all the right cutouts for your ports and buttons.
Spigen Liquid Air
If you’re after a TPU case that comes with a groovy-looking pattern, then the Spigen Liquid Air is definitely something to check out – the case comes with a relatively slim profile and features textured grooves on its sides and back for easier handling during usage. This means that your phone won’t easily slip from most surfaces (and your hands as well). The flexible TPU also provides additional shock absorption for the sides and back of the iPhone 15.
