What's This?

As far as gaming laptops go, Razer undoubtedly makes some of the sleekest-looking computers available, without sacrificing on performance and overall capabilities. The company recently announced the latest addition to its Razer Blade lineup with the 2025 Razer Blade 16, which comes with all-new hardware (as expected). With that said, it’s set to arrive in Q1 2025, but what else does it come with? Let’s take a look!

CHECK OUT: ASUS’ New Gaming Laptop Arrives Just in Time for the New Year

Inside, the Razer Blade 16 comes with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, accompanied by up to 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and up to 155W of graphics power. Also included are NVIDIA DLSS 4 for faster generative capabilities, as well as support for NVIDIA Studio software. The Razer Blade 16 can also run NVIDIA’s NIM microservices, which are AI models designed to allow users develop their own AI assistants, agents, and AI-based workflows.

Razer adds that this is the first time the Blade 16 will pack an AMD Ryzen processor, maxing out with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which itself comes with 12 cores/ 24 threads for resource-heavy gaming and productivity. With an NPU that runs at a maximum of 50 TOPS, the processor also works with Microsoft’s Copilot+ AI platform, giving users access to handy AI features such as generative image creation with Cocreator, Live Captions, and more. It also works in tandem with 8000 MHz LPDDR5X memory.

According to Razer, the 2025 Blade 16 is also designed to be extra portable despite the large display, nad is built with a newly-designed thermal hood which allows for a slim profile that measures less than an inch at its thinnest point. It comes with an aluminium unibody chassis that’s nice to the touch, and is supposedly cut from a single block of aluminium. Inside you’ll find Razer’s new vapor chamber design, which packs a built-in dual-dan system for better airflow during heavy loads. The cooling system also covers 57% of the motherboard surface area with 0.05mm exhaust fins for better heat dissipation.

As with most laptops, one of the biggest highlights of the 2025 Blade 16 is its display – built into its slim chassis is an OLED display with a good-looking QHD+ resolution, as well as a smooth 240Hz refresh rate. OLED panels typically feature better colour vibrancy and contrast compared to LCD screens, and we imagine that content consumption and gaming in general will look visually immersive on the Blade 16. It’s surrounded by pretty slim bezels at just 4.7mm, and supports Calman-verified colour profiles from Rec .709 to Adobe RGB to DCI-P3.

Other features include a redesigned keyboard with 1.5mm key travel for a more responsive typing experience, along with five dedicated macro keys for quick access to frequently used functions within Razer Synapse. These keys are of course customizable with different shortcuts, and there’s also a dedicated “Copilot” for immediate access to the AI companion. Finally, the Blade 16 is equipped with a 6-speaker audio system tuned by THX for a more immersive listening experience, and a variety of pre-tuned EQ profiles for gaming, movies, podcasts, and more.
