No doubt Apple brought a whole lot of flavour to the tech industry and we are deeply saddened to see him go. Apple’s Statement:
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor.
Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit with forever be the foundation of Apple.
The 56-year-old left Apple’s chief executive post on August 24 because of health problems and was battling with pancreatic cancer in 2004 which he then received a liver transplant in 2009, however he has lost the battle and passed away. The tech world hero co-founded Apple Computer in 1976 with his childhood friend Steve Wozniak.
Thoughts and prayers goes out to Steve’s family and close friends.
