After months of rumours and leaks surrounding the Galaxy Note 3, we are finally close to the event, with Samsung sending out press invites for an Unpacked event at IFA Berlin on September 4.
This is the third time Samsung has revealed their Note line at IFA, with the original Note starting the trend of phablets and the Note 2 pushing the boundaries with a 5.7-inch screen.
The Galaxy Note 3 is said to be a top of the line device, with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 octo-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16 – 64GB of storage, a 1080p 5.7-inch display and the infamous S Pen.
We believe this will be an even bigger event than the last one, with Samsung’s over-the-top attitude to reveals hitting the pinnacle at New York, when they unveiled the Galaxy S4 and showed features with a Broadway spectacle.
This is not the only device reportedly coming to IFA, the Galaxy Gear may be revealed with the Galaxy Note, as the smartwatch companion for when the user doesn’t want to pull out their phablet device.
The Galaxy Gear should come with an OLED display, Bluetooth and some new Android features and software to make the smartwatch seem like more than just a companion device for the smartphone.
Samsung has set a separate event the day after, September 5, we believe this will be for Android and Windows 8 tablets they are sure to announce at IFA, as they have for the past few years.
