I love Christmas, just a time to spread some love; thanks to the web, I can now spread some love beyond just my family and friends that I see everyday or easily accessible. Â Since Starting GadgetsBoy, I have met some fantastic people and why not spread some love during this festive season to them also.
Since I love Gadgets, you can guess that people I have met mostly have that in common with me and buying a gadget for someone who only has to make a phone call and the latest gadget arrives on his desk can be difficult and to make matters worse, it is on a budget, so I thought based on the facts I can get something they will like even if its on budget.
Money Supermarket paired em up with a great YouTuber, I like to call him the YouTube Tech Godfather, everyone knows him as Geekanoids, has a great YouTube channel and any tech questions or advice feel free to throw them his way. Now He likes gaming, photography, photography and more photography, oh and he likes Apple products too so those things there do not come cheap , well in my budget anyway :), so I thought I could consult my friends in China and get some fake ones made so having look alike is better than nothing right? I can get a fake iPad Mini and bingo everyone is happy right?….just playing…what I have been doing really is shopping on the web for two whole days, two whole days! that is how difficult it was, but I found some cool stuff.
First thing I found was this USB fridge  Cool and awesome to keep his can chilled, yes Geekanoids doen’t drink alcohol but he drinks soft drinks so he can place it in there, only holds one can so he will have some good time deciding which one to put in there.  Complete with an utterly pointless LED fridge light (though it does look pretty cool at night), and retro fridge styling, the USB Fridge will hold standard 300ml cans, and ensures that your chilled can stays that way.
Second gadget I found was a Camera Lens Cup, its winter and who doesn’t like a hot drink with some biscuit?..this cool cup can add to his lens collection hoping that one day he might mistake them for a real lens and just remember me 😀 ….hollowed out Canon EF 24-105mm camera lens that looks scarily like the real thing. Zoom in a little closer and you will see that all the dials, measurements and details have been reproduced, ready to fool even the most eagle eyed.
Well then, time to flip the coin and see what happens….in the mean time, have a great Christmas and hope Santa brings you the present you wished for.  I’ll let you all know what Santa brings me very soon.
