UK retailer Expansys has revealed some information on the Sony Xperia Z Ultra price and stock date, with many still focused on the enormous 6.44-inch size, we have yet to really look into the details about when it is coming to stores.
The report states the UK will get the Xperia Z Ultra on September 17 and it will come at a crunching £639.99 off contract, this is definitely a high-end device and Sony is marketing it against the Galaxy Note, even with the bigger size.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 1080p screen and all other high-end mobile features. It is also coming with Android 4.2.2, although by the time it ships Android 4.3 may be released.
We can see this being a device tailored towards a certain audience who love large handsets, not an everyday consumer device. Even though many want to see a push to 5-inches by Apple and other smartphone manufacturers, we question if 6.44-inch is pushing the boundaries.
