2012 is the year of films, and it’s also the year of film gadgets! This week sees the release of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, a film sure to be full of high-tech gadgets and one we’re particularly looking forward to watching.

Over the years Batman has created some serious hype around its gadgets, from the first Batmobile seen in the 1939 comics, to the 1966 Bat shark repellent and now in 2012 a series of Bat gadgets to blow the human mind, including the getaway Batpod, lethal Batmarang and Batman’s utility belt – full of hidden surprises to defeat villains.

 

The Batmobile is no longer a simple getaway car but the coolest concept of cars, kitted out with machine guns and armour. It’s hard as nails and can drive through anything and still survive, helping Batman in his quest to defeat his most recent and super-intelligent villain, Tom Hardy.

 

Ladbrokes are the latest brand to get involved with the launch of The Dark Knight rises. Their new Dark Knight slot game offers a fun-filled adventure full of action packed drama and in celebration of this event have offered us a selection of prizes to offer to our readers, including the chance to win cinema vouchers to see the new release and copies of The Dark Knight on DVD and Blu-Ray.
