Realme recently unveiled its latest addition to its P-series phones with the new Realme P3, a base model handset which is the more affordable option in the 2025 P3 series, which will also feature the Realme P3 Ultra. With that in mind, the Realme P3 5G (its full model name) is now live in select markets such as India, and comes with some pretty impressive features considering the price, which amounts to just around £150 when converted.

Considering that it’s a budget-friendly device, it does come with some surprising hardware highlights – for one, the phone features a large display at 6.67 inches – it’s an AMOLED panel that gets super bright at up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, and is smooth with a 120Hz refresh rate as well. This also makes it ideal for content consumption such as Netflix binges, and the occasional gaming session as well. The phone is also available in three different colours, which include Space Silver, Nebula Pink, and Comet Grey.

For performance, you’ll find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip inside, accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, although you can get it in a souped-up configuration which comes with a bit more RAM at 8GB, and twice the storage at 256GB. While the 6 gen 4 is a long way behind Qualcomm’s other Snapdragon offerings, it is nice to see it on here considering that other sub-200 phones still come with chipsets like the MediaTek Helio G99, for example.
For software, you can expect Realme UI on top of Android 15, which means you get some additional apps and customization features baked into the system. Realme has also equipped the P3 5G with a dedicated vapour chamber, which according to the manufacturer can lower degress by as much as 20 C during usage. Another key hardware feature is the large battery, which comes in at 6,000 mAh. It also supports 45W charging speeds, a decent addition given the phone’s low price point.

As for cameras, the Realme P3 features a dual rear setup – this includes a 50MP wide lens with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, and support for video recording at 4K resolution at 30fps, 1080p at 30, 60, and 120fps, along with gyro-EIS for stabilization. In front, the phone packs a single 16MP wide front camera with an f/2.4 aperture, capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps.

Other specs of the Realme P3 5G include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a stereo-speaker setup, as well as an IP69 rating for added dust and water resistance. Going back to its cheap entry price, it easily outclasses competing handsets such as the Galaxy A26 for example, which is a bit more expensive but features a smaller battery capacity and slower charging support.
