Ever want to document your journey, use your maps and capture your cycling stats at the same time without having to attach a gopro and a cycling GPS separately? Well this may interest you.
Bycle is mountable iPhone case that allows you to record your activity using your phone’s camera, tracks your route using your built-in GPS and will also give you stats such as distance, speed and calories. You can also share your route, use the date to improve your ride, edit the capture video, challenge your friends and track your achievements. From the demo, it’s clear that Bycle is more than just a phone mount or accessory, with the accompanying app, you can do a lot more.
The mount itself comes with a prism that allows the iPhone camera to capture video whilst in a mounted position on your bike’s handle-bar. It gives you a POV recording straight on, which is something you would have probably purchased a GoPro camera for before.
Bycle is currently in Kickstarter and they have two versions available, the S Mount and the E Mount; they both offer shock and water resistance, while the E mount comes with a 3000 mAh battery for keeping your iPhone charged up. Bycle currently supports the iPhone 6, 6+, 6S, 6s + and you can still get them at Kickstarter rates if you back them now.
