We’re heading into March, and we’ve already gotten a ton of big releases from pretty much all the major tech brands over the past couple of months. With that said though, this week has been busy itself, and that’s not counting all the upcoming news that we’re going to get once MWC 2025 goes live in Spain next week. So for you out there who might not been keeping up with tech news, here are some of the biggest headlines that you might have missed recently.
New Hands-on Footage Shows the Pixel 9a

In true Google Pixel fashion, the Pixel 9a has been leaked to oblivion over the past weeks and months, and it’s safe to say that we mostly have an idea of what to expect once Google “formally” announces its upcoming midrange phone. With that in mind, new footage online shows hands-on action with the Pixel 9a, giving us another view of the device. A video originally posted online on Discord by Alexis Garza – and later shared on Threads by user Shane Craig – showcases the rear design of the Pixel 9a, which confirms the design that we’ve seen before, such as the completely flat rear panel and the smaller camera bump, which ditches the camera bar seen on previous Pixel models.
Meet the OPPO Watch X2: It’s New, but Very Familiar

Oppo recently announced the launch of the Oppo Watch X2, which was spotted earlier on in select regional Oppo websites. Another new Wear OS device, the Watch X2 builds on the original Watch X from last year with new changes and refinements, although on one hand we wouldn’t blame you if you did a double-take when looking at the new device. You see, the Oppo Watch X2 is in fact a rebranded variant of the OnePlus Watch 3, and comes with pretty much all the same hardware specs as OnePlus’ latest wearable, save for some design changes.
Amazon’s Big Alexa Upgrade Packs a Ton of AI

As far as digital assistants go, Alexa is probably up there with the likes of Google Assistant and Siri as among the most frequently-used smart voice companions. Like Google and Apple, Amazon recently announced Alexa+, an AI-infused version of Alexa that promises significant improvements to usability. Alexa+ features a more natural flow in terms of user conversations, similar to how Gemini and ChatGPT handle interactions with user queries. It’s not free though – Alexa+ costs $19.99 per month, although Amazon Prime members can get it for free.
Clicks Finally Expands its Keyboard Accessory for More Devices

The arrival of the “Clicks” keyboard accessory last year was a much-welcome effort to bring back physical typing to modern smartphones, albeit with some additional and useful tricks such as button shortcuts and backlit buttons, to name some. With that in mind though, the original Clicks model was designed solely for iPhones, although the team behind Clicks recently announced that it’s designed the keyboard for expanded compatibility with more handsets. The accessory will have versions for select Android phones, which include the Google Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25, as well as the Motorola Razr+ (2024).
