As they grow and expand, they all have fans that go from just been a regular user to becoming hardcore fans who then go on to take sides simply because of what they perceive as “the best software company”.
It makes things competitive and fun for the software companies; it actually wouldn’t surprise me if the tech companies have a unit who solely monitors who is loving or hating them online.
So back to the question, I would base my answer on emotions, after all we mostly buy based on emotions more than logic. Taking emotions in to account then, we look at the purchasing process, aftercare, customer service and even the durability and street cred of the product we use.
On those points, Facebook would top the list; not only have they taken away the simplicity of the social networking site, they have also bombarded it with a design that we love to hate and so many advertisements that now annoys users like spam emails you don’t even bother opening, straight to the bin.
I would say second would be Microsoft, based on the usability and how reliable their products are. How many times have we complained about BSOD or the fact that we get a product and have to dig deep before we can find sound settings? On the bright side, with the new Windows 8 OS, they are improving on speed, ease of use and uniformed interface across all their products which is something Apple do very well.
Google is actually a company that is very hard to hate, they have mastered their business very well that they will fix a problem before you can even think of it, I like to think they hold the web in their hands. We all use their search engine, some use their web browser, Android OS which has developed and improved over time, award winning designs and hardware, YouTube and many more. Â Innovation is Google’s middle name.
I can’t picture anyone using a Microsoft product without having some sort of issue with it, same goes to Google, Facebook so on the other side Apple would win the most loved company with their slick design, excellent customer service, easy to use OS and devices and more. Â The queues at their product launch around the world probably says it all.
Over to you, who do you have a love hate relationship with ? Leave a comment below.

I agree with what you said, Google is a company that is hard to hate because it gives us free good quality services that we can’t live without.
