Sporting a GPS connectivty, HR monitor, multi-sport tracking sensors, a backlit LCD touch display and a battery that Fitbit claims will last seven days on a single charge, the Fitbit Surge is a sexy looking piece of health wearable that is now available in the UK. Accompanying the Surge is also the Charge and Charge HR, with the latter also now available to buy from the Fitbit’s website directly.
Compared to the Surge, the Charge and Charge HR features OLED displays for displaying caller ID and can track sleep pattern/quality. As the names suggest, the Charge HR can monitor your HR using Fitbit’s PurePulse HR technology. HR monitoring function comes in handy when measuring your Red Zone minutes used to measure how hard your heart is working above 85% of your resting Heart Rate.
If interested, now will be a good time to order. The Fitbit Surge price is set at £199.99 and ships within 2-3 week , the Charge HR is £119.99 with a 1-2 week wait.
